Vacation: A family time !

  Every year, my parents organize a small holiday for having a little time with the family! In those times it is very difficult to have a family time, because my parents live in San Felipe, my brother Felipe studies in Concepcion and my older sister works a lot.

 Generally, we travel to some place of Chile or Argentina, but for my last summer we did a big travel to Mexico with all the family! It was amazing, it has been a very long time since we traveled all together!

  We traveled for ten days and stayed in apart-hotel near the 5th avenue ( main Street). This avenue was a very touristy street with many restaurants and crafts trade. After a beach day, we used to go for a walk around there and eat at some Mexican restaurant.

  

Temple of Kukulcan- Chichén Itzá

  Besides spending time at the beach, we did different activities like going to natural parks and Mayan ruins. One of the ruins that I liked most was "Chichén Itzá", it was very interesting to know about the culture and architecture of the Mayan civilization.

  

Cenote 

  We also got to know the natural wealth of Mexico. We visited the cenotes, natural pools that may or may not be covered by a "roof", and Xcaret, an archaeological eco park where we could learn about the flora and fauna of the peninsula of Yucatan.

  The best thing about this trip was to spend a great time with my family and to know a landscape and culture about an amazing country as Mexico.
